About Me

Jenna Salvagin

I am a writer based in the New York City area. I cover wine, food, and travel for Wine Enthusiast, SevenFifty Daily, The Vintner Project, Fodors, and many other outlets. My recent writing projects can be found here.

In May of 2025, I was honored to be named the second recipient of Washington State Wine Commission’s Allen Shoup Memorial Fellowship for writers and communicators.

My husband and I founded Parks and Points, a website dedicated to sharing writing about public lands, in 2016. We produced and published Wayfinding, a book of poetry celebrating public lands, in 2021.

I also teach writing at Purchase College (State University of New York at Purchase), and serve on the board of the SUNY Council on Writing.
